The Luna Optics LN-DM50-HRSD Digital Nightvision Monocular Gen 1+ is a compact and powerful nightvision monocular from Luna Optics.
It provides both day and night vision offering automatic transition between Full-Color image during daytime and super light sensitive Black & White image at nighttime.
The DM50 has precision all-glass optics with 5-20x zoom and a super powerful 500mW IR illuminator with a viewing distance up to 200m in total darkness.
Thanks to its powerful CCD imagesensor it can reach a super high resolution with 1280x960 active pixels.
The water-resistant body allows use in inclement weather conditions and advance features like variable brightness, contrast and a multi-step IR illuminator allow for perfect object illumination depending on the distance and ambient light conditions.

Delivered with the LM-DM50 is a Front filter.
This filter allows for much better colours transition during daytime - it enhances the colours, so when you attach this filter to the front of the objective lens the colours will be much more vibrant during daytime.
During night time however it is better to remove this filter, because it makes the unit less sensitive to the ambient light.
